Some of my favorite things to do when I am not making jewelry are yoga, movies, and of course, fashion!
Most of my jewelry has been designed after buying a new outfit or item of clothing for myself. I also follow a few fashion bloggers who inspire me to keep my designs on-trend. Did I mention I love movies? I have to admit, sometimes a pair of earrings on a character stays in my head until I sit down at my bench and recreate, putting my own twist on the design.
This may explain why you see different styles in my collection!
Skills and Techniques
There is such versatility in the jewelry design industry. There is always room to learn and grow. We are only limited by our imagination. I love how creative you can get with something as simple as a piece of wire or a gemstone, or even a tiny seed bead.
Currently, I silversmith mostly with Argentium sterling silver and gold-filled wire but I do love copper too. You'll find that in the summer I lean more toward making minimalist pieces while fall brings me into a full bohemian mode.
