Skills and Techniques

Rockhound - unique handmade designs; wire-wrapped, cold-forged, hammer-formed. Sterling silver, 14K-1/20 gold-filled, or copper with upcycled found objects, gems: turquoise, opal, labradorite, garnet, rough emerald, aquamarine, amazonite, jasper, agate, conflict-free rough diamonds, fresh-water pearls, Mexican crazy-lace & Botswana agate, fossilized coral, seraphinite aka Angel Stone, pietersite, mariposite, rhodonite, rhodochrosite, muscovite, lapis lazuli, chrysocolla, azurite, quartz.

Get to Know

Even mundane things have their own beauty; it's my aim to find the excitement in each gem or pebble that catches my eye, then study it to find its best design. More often than not, I'm learning as I go; this keeps it fresh - surprise is what keeps it interesting - for the maker and the wearer. While I do have a few favorite tricks and techniques, I'm not inclined to follow patterns - even of my own design. The work you find in my shop is always original, always unique. In every case, I strive to create something sturdy, sound, and always snag-free with carefully tucked and burnished finishing. My work is fully guaranteed under normal wearing conditions.
