Quick Blurb

One of our grandsons has been diagnosed with an incurable (for now) connective tissue disorder called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

jewelry, gold, silver, copper, antique copper, bronze, vintage bronze, greeting, cards, inspiration, pearls, glass, dichroic glass, wire wrapping, stones, wood, metal, color, nature, paper, trees, flowers, animals

All of these elements are key to my jewelry making and card making. Color and form in nature inspire me.

Skills and Techniques

card making, beading, wire wrapping, color, inspiration

I love adding "the icing on the cake" (coined from a customer of mine). When i wire wrap rings I've been told by customers that the wrapping on the wire is the frosting. With my greeting cards it's either my personal artwork that I'm sharing or just that little extra something on the card that makes it special.

Get to Know

I have always had a passion for color, beauty, nature and jewelry. I always wanted to create my own pieces of art in jewelry. There's so much color and beauty around us in nature. I love when something colorful or a design takes my breath away. So I try to capture some of that beauty in the pieces I create. I look forward to your enjoyment of my unique creations. I also can re-create an old, forgotten piece into something more updated that you might be more willing to wear instead of stuffing at the back a drawer. An added plus ~ 80% of my jewelry sales goes to Cincinnati Children's Hospital where my grandson is treated for several incurable disorders. The money goes towards research for these disorders in hopes that one day there will be a cure.

I love paper products, especially handcrafted ones. So I've ventured beyond my jewelry bubble and into designing handcrafted greeting cards. They will soon have their own category in my shop. Enjoy!
