Get to Know

I began Rebel Butterfly Press in 1990 in Tucson AZ when self publishing was rare and difficult to do. My first book with this imprint was "Poems from the wreckage", after that i shifted gears a bit for the street art project "The Mad Poet" project. Later i published a trilogy of fables called "everything in an empty box" and a companion set of blank books called "Amazing Blank Books". I also published "My friend tony and our amazing scissor jack ride" as well as "the deceptively titled show catalog". There have been many performances and projects between all these books. My new interactive performance art project in print media is the "tucson postcard project" showcasing both the lost art of the postcard and the amazing people, places, and history of Tucson AZ. Depending on funds and time available there will be at least two cards a month: a limited edition (of 200 each numbered on the press) and a news stand edition, less fancy....but still beautiful...and more affordable.
