Interests

I have a great appreciation for the great outdoors and nature. I love to spend as much time as possible outdoors walking the dog, hiking, gardening, and riding my Harley-Davidson motorcycle. There is no better way to feel free and be inspired than riding the highway with the wind in your hair or standing on a hill enjoying the beautiful view!!

Skills and Techniques

Unlike other types of clay, polymer clay does not have to be kiln dried. My creations are baked in a regular oven at a low temperature for a set amount of time. This allows for the clay to set to a hard, plastic like material. There is a skill to it though; if the clay is baked to long it will crumble easily and loose its durability. Being under done will also cause lack of durability.

There are so many different techniques to use with this clay that I just don't know where to begin. If you are interested in seeing some of them please visit my blog at www.tdstylings.com.

Get to Know

Welcome everyone! I started my shop to show all of you out there what amazing products can be created out of this wonderful medium called Polymer Clay.

In the past, I have worked with wood sculpting, painting, bead work, and all kinds of other mediums. I had a blast with all of them but a few years ago I discovered polymer clay and have been having fun with it every since. It is very difficult to explain some of the processes that go into my creations but, if you are interested I have a blog on my website, www.tdstyling.com, that takes you through a few of the many processes that can be used to make my creations. I think you will find it very interesting.

I still continue to enjoy creating other products out of different materials and I hope that you check them out as well. Currently, I have some baskets for sale made of yarn, upholstery cord, and beads. Like I said.....many different mediums.

I am hoping to continue expanding on my shop, so please come back and visit often. You never know what you will find and can't live without :-)

Have a super wonderful day!!
