One of my main interests, of course is jewelry, I love to wear it, as well as make it.

Beads are another great obsession of mine, I can't resist buying more, even if I don't necessarily need them, much to my husband's chagrin. LOL

I love to read, sing, write, play video games, surf the web, and promoting what I love, such as animal rescues.

I am usually inspired by colors, I might suddenly get an idea from seeing some flowers, a pretty dress, a pile of autumn leaves, glassware, or new beads.

Skills and Techniques

I do a lot of hand wire work, such as creating the chain that strings beads together to form a necklace, or bracelet, or weaving, and twisting wire.

I have been known to paint items, to make them work for a custom order request. I have also created resin castings, some of which incorporated pictures to commemorate lost loved ones, or special occasions, such as the birth of a child. I can also cast my own beads in various shapes, and sizes.

I only use quality items in my creations, and I prefer to use glass, and crystal beads, when possible. I really enjoy Czech and Lampwork glass.

Gemstones are something else I enjoy, they give off their own energy to bless the owner in many different ways. All of my crystal and gemstones are cleansed and charged, before shipping.

Get to Know

Lola's Lovely Designs is a small handmade jewelry business, though I also sell some vintage items.

This business is named for one of our rescue pups, and I have to say that Lola is the sweetest, and cutest little lady on the planet.

My name is Verleen Freeman, and I love designing and making jewelry.

I make a large variety of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, eyeglass chains, purse jewelry, and key chains.

While most of the jewelry I make uses completely new items, I do like to upcycle, when I can, so I will, occasionally, use pieces of broken vintage items, though I always note that in the listings. All new items are hypoallergenic, so they are lead, nickel, and latex free.

I am also very happy to make custom requested items, so feel free to contact me and ask, if you are looking for something specific.
