Handmade Stained Glass South Korean Flag Window

Image Description
This is a handmade stained glass South Korean flag. The glass for the white is a mix of clear and opaque white. The blue and red yin-yang sign is textured deep colors. The black lines are opaque non-textured glass. The characters at the top are the Korean word for their flag, made in a textured opaque black glass. I even put on a black patina to make it look sleek and elegant. I spent many hours working on this between actually designing the pattern and making it. I had a lot of fun doing it, but am not likely to make another stained glass item this size. It's about 2 feet wide (24 inches) and 1 1/2 (18 inches) feet tall. This is an original design. I took a stained glass class just so I could make this. See my blog post "Why I'm Obsessed with Asian Languages" that explains why.
