Shaker Tree of Life Counted Cross Stitch Pattern
Details
This is the iconic symbol of the Shakers, a celibate religious sect, also known as The United Society of Believers in Christ's Second Appearing. There are Shaker museums scattered across the northeast and the midwest. The original design for the Tree of Life was created by Hannah Cahoon in 1854. This would look lovely in any room of your home or would make a nice gift for someone special. With just 4 colors, this one is easy enough for a beginner to do. When finished, it will measure approximately 12 X 9.2 on 14 ct. Aida fabric, or about 9.2 x 7.2 on 18 ct.
Each one of my charts is handmade by me and carefully detailed. Several hours of work goes into each one to make sure they are cleaned up and simple to use. They come in large, clear print with a minimum of pages. No backstitching needed but you can add it in yourself if you'd prefer. Easy to download, easy to follow and they come out beautifully. As a long time stitcher myself, I take pride in all of my charts and products.
Upon receipt of payment, I will e-mail to you, usually within 24 hrs., one photo of the item (in JPG form, and minus the watermark) and the chart in PDF form. Also included is a chart of the DMC floss you will need.
Happy stitching!

P.S. I also have this pattern available in a much larger size now - approximately 24 x 19 in 14 ct.
