OOAK Grey, Black and white banded agate in Sterling Silver Frame Ring

This ring is truly a one of a kind and totally unique! I found a rather unusual agate on a beach in Oregon a few years back. The pattern of banding on the open face was in a heart shape. Unfortunately, when I polished it down to make this cab, the banding morphed, which it will always do, and we have this pattern here. The cab is now a 15x12mm oval and is glued into this Sterling Silver setting.

This ring is a size 6 and does not appear to be sizeable. I might be able to press the band out a little bit, but not more then a size up.

Agates are formed from microscopic crystals of quartz laid down in bands, this is a very stable crystal. Agates are grounding stones, bringing about an emotional, physical, and intellectual balance. They aid in the centering and stabilizing physical energy.

Agate has the power to harmonize yin and yang, the positive and the negative forces that hold the universe in place. A soothing and calming stone, Agate works slowly but brings great strength. Its multiple layers can bring hidden information to light.
