This stunning pendant bead has a summery feel. Made with multiple layers of dichroic in shades of teal, blue, gold, rust, magenta, light green and silver. 2-3 mm. wide horizontal hole. 33mm x 26mm.
The First picture has a cord strung through it to show the location of the hole.
This piece was entirely hand crafted by me in my home studio!
The glass cabochon was made by cutting and layering dichroic glass bits, then placed in a kiln and fired, with more dichroic being added and re-fired multiple times for incredible depth and color play.. When I'm happy with the piece it is then shaped with lapidary equipment to give it a nice clean edge, then placed back in the kiln to polish the edge and anneal the piece for extra strength.
