This whimsical fantasy sculpture is a one of kind creation, sure to bring a smile to your face. The scene I've sculpted depicts a Gnome making his offering of a platter of magical Golden Fish to The Forest Mushroom Cat. The Cat is a very magical creature himself and uses his powers to protect the Forest and it's denizens. Such a regal and powerful creature naturally deserves only the finest of foods, and nothing is more delicious than baked Golden Fish. The Cat sits atop a large (and very magical) mushroom, his long multicolored fur spreading across the mushroom cap. The Cat was sculpted by hand in Premo polymer clay, his fur deeply textured and then painted with acrylic paint in shades of brown, orange, black, and white. He has bright, intense green eyes and measures about 3 inches tall. His mushroom, with which he has a symbiotic relationship, measures about 3 inches tall and was also sculpted by hand from Premo polymer clay. The textured stem was created from shades of brown, gold, and gray clay and the cap was sculpted using shades of blue and green clay. The Gnome is kneeling to present his offering and measures about 6 inches tall to the tip of his bright red hat. He's wearing green pants with a belt, brown boots, a yellow shirt, and a blue jacket complete with buttons and pockets. There are so many tiny little details in this piece! He has bright blue eyes and a bushy white beard and mustache. The Golden Fish were sculpted from gold polymer clay then dusted with gold Pearl Ex powder for added shimmer (and magic). They lay on a platter that was originally a metal jewelry component. The base of the sculpture is green grass covered in tiny flowers in shades of pink, blue, purple, yellow, and white. The centers of the flowers have been painted with acrylic paint. This piece is just pure whimsical fun and fantasy! I've stamped the bottom of the base with my signature so you know this is a one of a kind original creation from CreativeCritters.
