Winter scene design by porcelain decorative artist Lorraine Ditsworth. This piece was painted January 6 , 1974. She was born in 1931 and is now 80 yrs. old. In charcoal/black/grey-brown, this winter scene depicts a warm shelter on a cold day. With the ground covered with heavy snow, towering pine trees covered in a blanket of snow surrounding the homestead - warm, inviting, always there to shelter the weary traveler. This extremely thin porcelain cup - 8 oz liquid. 3"diameter x 3" high.. Holding the warm cup in your hands warms the fingers and the heart. Lorraine must have been comforted in this house on a cold, snowy, evening - somewhere!. I will reimburse you if the postage is less than anticipated at time of mailing
