Labradorite - A lore of the Inuit peoples claims that Labradorite fell from the frozen fire of the Aurora Borealis. The chatoyance of the gem seems to support this belief
Grey is "in" as the new black. The uniquely drilled and faceted labradorite beads and the free form matching pendant make this necklace a conversation piece. You will turn heads at the office or at a party should you choose to wear this necklace. As with all my jewelry it is an all season accessory. A pair of matching earrings is my gift to you.
You will be wearing a two strand necklace which transitions into a single strand at the back of the neck for wearing comfort. Czech glass beads in cobalt blue, plated silver and orange beads match similar colored gems from the pendant. The frame of the pendant is marked sterling.
The necklace is 24" long. The square labradorite beads are 10mm.
Other beads: goldstone, plated silver, cobalt blue rondelle beads are 3 mm.
The Pendant is 1 ½" long and 1" wide. It is asymmetrical and has three cobalt blue crystals and one gold stone.
Care: As with all natural gems use of chemical sprays must be avoided. The Sterling Silver Pendant can be stored in tarnish proof container. Wiping with a damp cloth would be adequate to make this necklace last for a life time.
