landscape painting, watercolor, paingint, tree painting, mountain pain
This is a landscape watercolor painting from my memories in North Idaho and Montana. I grew up in Montana. We lived right up against BLM land and vast forested hill country. Montana was one of the most beautiful places on earth I remember as a child. In Northern Idaho I spent several years in Elk, Washington which literally sits on the Idaho and Washington State border. We would often drive to Idaho for church.
In both Idaho and Montana one can look for miles and not many human dwellings. Though the population where I traveled had many people the trees and forested land would hid everything. The trees would also whistle in the wind and block many of the sounds you might here in your city. The pine needles are one of the most fantastic smells in both of these places.
What you are purchasing here is a digital reprint taken from the original. Normally when painting I sketch the foundation of my vision.
