Vintage AA Grade Angel Skin Coral Bead Bracelet,14K Gold,Red Cloisonne
Vintage Chinese carved melon shaped pink angel skin coral beads,Vintage AA grade pink angel skin coral beads, Vintage 1970s Chinese Red Cloisonne Beads, 14K Gold Beads,Bali Gold Toggle clasp
This elegant, approximately 8" long vintage pink angel skin coral bracelet is comprised of 10 top quality, saturated pink color 9-10mm smooth coral beads that we personally selected in Taiwan in the mid 1980s. ( there are 25mm to the inch so these beads are just under 1/4" )
There are also 3 beautiful carved "melon" beads - a pattern very common in the 1970s -1980s in Asia. The carving is exquisite and was meticulously done with great pride in the workmanship.
These beads are approximately 3/8" in diameter and are partnered with 2 gorgeous 1970s vintage 10mm Chinese cloisonne beads in a deep luscious red color with pink flowers.
Cloisonne from the 1970s is quite sought after and highly collectible as the workmanship is superb and far superior to what is being exported from China these days. This deep red color in particular is difficult to find anymore.
All these gorgeous, evenly polished vintage angel skin coral beads are separated by tiny gold filled beads as well as 3 - 5mm14K gold beads from the 1980s.
This bracelet has been finished on a Bali gold toggle clasp which coordinates beautifully with the 14K gold corrugated beads.
Fine quality angel skin coral like this is hard to find and well carved and detailed beads such as the ones in this bracelet are extremely scarce if even available - you will not find a bead such as this at your local gem show! As with faceted gems, fine coral like this is sold by weight.
There are approximately 21 grams of coral in this bracelet.
? Please note: Coral is the hard skeleton created by tiny marine organisms known as "coral polyps". The " construction process " varies greatly with time and local conditions and is therefore very irregular. This results in lack of homogeneity in the skeleton that takes the form of small pits and fissures. These pits and fissures are not imperfections but rather part of the growth process . These are always present and do not affect the structural integrity of the material. You may see examples of such fissures in the photos .
Corals live in warm water oceans all over the world, and their habitat has been steadily disappearing because of human water pollution and over fishing. Since coral collection and mining was banned worldwide in 1992, it is very difficult to find such beads as these in the bead trade! The U.S also currently has a ban on importing corals. We do have the documentation to show that these beads were purchased by us in 1984.
Total length of this one of a kind bracelet is approximately 8". It will arrive in a vintage Chinese embroidered silk brocade purse all ready for gift giving.

ORDERS OUTSIDE USA: International First Class rates are now crazy: $16.50 for any package weighing from 1-5 ounces. Even an order for 2-3 small bead items may cost $16.50 or more, depending on the type of material (stone versus resin, for example). We apologize in advance if we have to adjust the postage cost of an order that has been placed. We will understand if an order is rescinded when the postage cost is too high relative to the product value.
All international orders have contents described as "loose beads" and are flagged as "commercial samples" or " gift" if you prefer to make your life easier when receiving your beads. If you'd like us to mark your order as " gift" instead please let us know!

Love my beads! The coloring in the epidote was not as intense as illustrated, but it is certainly a good example of the mineral. The colors in the unakite beads are wonderful. The quality of the carving I would rate as good to excellent.
Nice beads!! Super fast thanks a lot!!!
I have dreamed of having a necklace such as the jade one. But the red one. That was a surprise. Both are beautiful. Thank you! Best, Jane
Lovely color;!interesting stones.
When I thought that I had ordered two of these and then checked out I had to order another set. The seller was very kind and combined my two orders and refunded my shipping.
