Vintage Pink Angel Skin Coral Bead Triple Strand Necklace, Rose Quartz, Salmon Chalcedony, Gold, Glass
Vintage pink angel skin coral beads ,vintage rose quartz beads, vintage coral chalcedony beads ,Vintage Japanese glass beads, Vintage German glass beads,Gold filled beads, Bali gold toggle clasp
A triple hand knotted asymmetrical necklace of vintage beads featuring a gorgeous 1" hand carved rose quartz bead that boasts an ornate dragon is the focal bead of this museum quality piece. I've dyed the silk cord a pale pink to match the pink tones of all the semiprecious beads.
This semiprecious stone necklace has been created in hues of pinks and corals. It measures approximately 24" and has been finished with a Bali gold vermeil toggle clasp. Gold filled beads throughout compliment the clasp.
► All the stone beads which I use were personally selected by me in Hong Kong during the 1970s-1980s when the standards of cutting were meticulous. Nowadays, stone beads are being cut and imported from India where the labor is cheap, the beads are not always perfectly round, nor do they have an even polish and many times they are not even drilled all the way through .
This design ( sold under the name Beadles ) was originally available in the Sackler Gallery's museum shop in Washington, D.C. during the early 1980s - The Sackler Gallery is the Smithsonian's Asian museum.
Gorgeous top quality vintage natural approximately 10mm ( 3/8" ) pink angel skin coral beads that we purchased in the Philippines in the 1980s, 10mm rose quartz beads in both round and flat spacers , and 10mm rare coral chalcedony stone beads compliment one another as well as do the 1950s vintage German and Japanese glass beads . A few 8mm deeper salmon quartz beads add more definition.
The Japanese 3/4" long teardrop glass beads are in the same luscious coral color as the chalcedony and angel skin coral , and the vintage German glass beads are in both a pink pinched melon, a coral and pink pinched melon, and gold dotted spacers.
►Coral is the hard skeleton created by tiny marine organisms known as "coral polyps". Corals live in warm water oceans all over the world, and their habitat has been steadily disappearing because of human water pollution and over fishing. Since coral collection and mining was banned worldwide in 1992, it is very difficult to find such beads as these in the bead trade!
The U.S also currently has a ban on importing corals .
Next to red (oxblood) and dark orange, angel skin -pink and white - is the most desired and most valuable.**

IMPORTANT NOTICE: POSTAGE RATES HAVE RISEN DRAMATICALLY IN 2020
ORDERS INSIDE USA: A charge of $4.00 covers any first class shipment up to 15 ounces. Our beads vary so much in weight that it is impossible for us to apply a single add-on charge for multiple product orders. We will continue to refund to customers any amount that greatly exceeds our actual cost of shipping and handling.
ORDERS OUTSIDE USA: International First Class rates are now crazy: $16.50 for any package weighing from 1-5 ounces. Even an order for 2-3 small bead items may cost $16.50 or more, depending on the type of material (stone versus resin, for example). We apologize in advance if we have to adjust the postage cost of an order that has been placed. We will understand if an order is rescinded when the postage cost is too high relative to the product value.
All international orders have contents described as "loose beads" and are flagged as "commercial samples" or " gift" if you prefer to make your life easier when receiving your beads. If you'd like us to mark your order as " gift" instead please let us know!
All our beads are inspected one by one before being shipped. They are individually wrapped to protect them and then put in little plastic ziploc bags.
All vintage beaded jewelry is either shipped in a little gift box tied with a ribbon or in a vintage Chinese embroidered silk purse.
If you ever have a problem with a damaged bead or jewelry, don't hesitate to contact us. We are only human, and with so many orders going out on a daily basis, there is always room for error. We will replace your order (assuming we have more in stock), issue you a store credit, or give you a full refund if the item is returned in the same condition as it was shipped within 7 days of receiving your order if you are not fully satisfied. You must notify us as soon as you receive your order if there is a problem.

Thank you - Debby and Joel Arem
Love my beads! The coloring in the epidote was not as intense as illustrated, but it is certainly a good example of the mineral. The colors in the unakite beads are wonderful. The quality of the carving I would rate as good to excellent.
Nice beads!! Super fast thanks a lot!!!
I have dreamed of having a necklace such as the jade one. But the red one. That was a surprise. Both are beautiful. Thank you! Best, Jane
Lovely color;!interesting stones.
When I thought that I had ordered two of these and then checked out I had to order another set. The seller was very kind and combined my two orders and refunded my shipping.
