A unique museum-level reproduction of an Classical-era Corinthian helmet, as close as possible to the original - a fully functional item!
This is a piece of art that can be used both for display and reenactment purposes. As close as possible to ancient casting techniques of war helmet construction
Date: C.a. 5th Century B.C.
Material: Copper
- micro-casting techniques to achieve less than 2 mm copper thickness and an overall weight of 1.3kg (compare this with 10mm thickness and 4kg of typical helmet reproductions)
-micro-casted in single-piece construction as the original ones, unlike cheaper reproductions that cast different pieces and then weld them using modern techniques
-the metal (copper) can be polished both in brass or bronze finish. Alternatively can be aged using a mix of quality patina paint and natural copper oxidation - each item is uniquely custom-made to meet Customer requirements, no two pieces are identical
-dimensions are identical to the original artefact
- can be constructed both with long cheeks (TYPE A) and shorter cheeks (TYPE B)
Please keep in mind that the helmet you will receive will not be exactly like the preview as every piece is slightly different.
