Doxie Starry Night Dachshund Cross Stitch/Needlepoint Pattern #20101

· Counted cross stitch pattern of a dark colored dachshund dog staring up at a starry night, adapted from Vincent Van Gogh's famous painting. I can easily convert the colors to DMC Tapestry if you would like to do this in needlepoint. Just ask for it.
· Stitch count: 224 x 160 stitches.
· Design area for 14 count: 16" x 11.4" or 41 cm x 29 cm.
· Colors: 32 DMC floss colors. When buying your floss, go by the color numbers, not the name.
· Fabric: Can be worked on aida cloth, linen, or an open weave fabric. Best worked on a light colored fabric.
· Made in full cross stitches. No backstitching, if you would like to add some of your own you could.

· Finished size will vary depending on the number of threads per inch in the fabric you are using. Here is a handy chart:

As a general rule of thumb, the more colors used, the more complicated the pattern will be. All patterns can easily be converted to other count cloths, all that will change is the finished size. Allow as much extra fabric for border as you would like for patterns with the background left unstitched.
